Vinyl Sticker Material

Conformable PVC film for stickers and labels on curved, textured or outdoor surfaces. Thick, tough and weather-resistant with lamination: the material for merchandise, equipment and vehicles.

  • White and clear vinyl with gloss or matte lamination
  • Wraps curves and conforms to textured surfaces where thinner films lift or crack
  • Weather and UV resistant for years outdoors when laminated
  • Permanent and removable adhesives; die cut, kiss cut or supplied on rolls

The quotation states the exact grade, gauge, adhesive and liner for your application.

Limits to plan around

  • Thicker and heavier than BOPP: not suited to thin-label high-speed lines; compare BOPP or PET for product labels.
  • PVC may not meet some sustainability or regulatory requirements; ask about PVC-free polyolefin alternatives.
  • Long outdoor life needs lamination; unlaminated print fades and scuffs.
  • Removable vinyl becomes harder to remove with time and sun; agree the removal window.

Adhesives & liners

Adhesives and liners for vinyl

The face stock is only half the label. The adhesive is matched to your surface and conditions; the liner to how the labels are applied.

Artwork

Artwork and print notes for vinyl

What to prepare so the material prints and cuts the way you expect.

CutlineSupply the contour as a separate vector layer, or we draw it from the artwork; vinyl cuts cleanly to complex shapes.
Bleed and safe zoneExtend artwork beyond the cutline and keep key content inside the safe zone; see the artwork guidelines.
White ink on clearOn clear vinyl, print white under the colour where the artwork should be opaque.
Lamination choiceGloss for colour and outdoor durability; matte for a softer, glare-free look. Both protect the print.
FAQ

Questions about vinyl

See All FAQs
Vinyl or BOPP for stickers?
Vinyl for outdoor use, curved or textured surfaces and anything handled hard. BOPP for flat indoor stickers and product labels where a thinner film is enough.
How long does vinyl last outdoors?
Laminated vinyl is specified for years outdoors; the exact life depends on grade, lamination and exposure. Tell us the conditions and we quote a construction with a stated life.
Will removable vinyl leave residue?
Within the agreed window on the specified surface, no. Heat and sun make any adhesive harder to remove, so agree the time frame up front.
Do you offer a PVC-free option?
Yes, polyolefin films with similar conformability for projects with PVC restrictions. Ask when requesting a quote.
How thick is vinyl?
Thicker and stiffer-feeling than BOPP, which is what makes it tough and easy to peel from the liner. The gauge is stated on the grade data sheet in the quotation.
