Challenges

Problems we solve in sauces & condiments

The problems sauce makers bring to us.

Challenge

Oil wicks under the label

Oily contents run down the bottle, creep under the edge and stain paper.

What we do: laminated BOPP or PET with an adhesive that holds through oily contact; edges checked on a sample with your product.

Challenge

Labels lift after hot fill

Bottles labelled warm shrink as they cool and the label bubbles.

What we do: labelling after cooling where possible, or a construction chosen for hot-fill; samples run through your process.

Challenge

Squeeze bottles crack stiff labels

Labels wrinkle or lift when the bottle flexes.

What we do: conformable film gauge with a high-tack adhesive, tested after squeezing and 24 hours.

Challenge

Heat levels, flavours and batch codes

A product range needs many small variants.

What we do: one construction for the range, variants ganged on a roll, and a printable zone for batch and best-before.

FAQ

Questions about sauces & condiments labels

See All FAQs
Which label resists chili oil?
A laminated film face stock with a permanent adhesive chosen against oils. We send samples to check with your product.
Should I label before or after hot filling?
After cooling where your process allows; otherwise we propose a hot-fill construction and test it on your bottle.
Can one label cover glass and PET bottles?
Often yes; for PE squeeze bottles we may propose a high-tack variant. Samples on each container settle it.
Do you leave space for a date code?
Yes. An unlaminated or thermal-printable zone is left for the coder or printer on your line.
