Seven-Colour & Spot-Colour Labels

A colour-led label project with seven-colour printing, spot-colour targets and optional foil or reverse-UV detail.

  • Selected for the colour target, finish and packaging
  • Foil · emboss · reverse UV · gloss varnish
  • Rolls; winding and application details confirmed before production

Your artwork, selected stock and final construction are approved together before production.

High-saturation colour and metallic detail on a printed beverage label.
Overview

Agree the colour target before the finish.

Seven-colour printing gives this label family its colour-led approach. The specific ink set and achievable colour range must be confirmed for the chosen stock; an RGB screen image is a design reference, not a production colour specification.

Send brand references, critical colour values and the intended packaging. Review the printed proof under suitable lighting before approving foil, embossed areas or varnish contrast around the colour.

Craft

Details to approve.

The material, artwork and finish work together. Review these decisions before production.

Define critical colours

Identify the brand colours that matter most and supply an agreed reference. Review the effect of paper colour, opacity and surface texture.

Confirm the ink set

Seven-colour capability does not identify a particular extended-gamut ink set. Agree the production process and any spot inks with the quotation.

Add contrast deliberately

Foil, emboss, reverse UV and gloss varnish can be specified. Give each a separate mask and review its relationship with the colour artwork.

FAQ

Before you order.

More label FAQs
Are these labels printed with RGB inks?

RGB describes screen colour. For seven-colour printing, the actual production ink set and spot-colour requirements must be agreed separately.

Can you guarantee a colour from my monitor?

A monitor is not a reliable approval reference. Supply an agreed colour target and approve a physical proof on the selected stock.

Does seven-colour printing include OVG?

The ink set is agreed with the quotation. If orange, violet and green are required, specify those channels rather than assuming every seven-colour process uses them.

How do foil and reverse UV affect the colour?

Reflective and gloss areas change the way adjacent colours are perceived. Review the combined print and finish on the proof.

What helps repeat orders stay consistent?

Retain the approved stock, colour reference and finish specification. Use the approved production sample as the reference for the next run.
