Your artwork, selected stock and final construction are approved together before production.

Pearlescent Linen-Texture Labels: Pearlescent linen-pattern label.
Overview

Work with the changing light.

The pearlescent surface and linen-like texture give this label two visual features to approve: its sheen at different angles and the clarity of the printed artwork across the grain.

Choose a physical stock sample before setting critical colours or small type. The texture describes the surface appearance; the exact paper composition and grade are confirmed with the construction.

Craft

Details to approve.

The material, artwork and finish work together. Review these decisions before production.

Review the sheen

Tilt a physical sample under the lighting in which the packaging will be seen. A screen cannot reproduce the changing reflection.

Keep small text clear

Check lettering, codes and fine borders at the final size against the crosshatched texture.

Coordinate the pack

Compare the label with the box, bottle or cup colour so the pearlescence supports the overall design.

FAQ

Before you order.

More label FAQs
Does linen-texture paper contain linen fibre?

The texture name describes its appearance. Request the exact stock information if fibre composition is a requirement.

Will colours match plain white paper?

The base colour and sheen can change their appearance. Approve a proof on the selected stock.

Can small QR codes be printed?

Supply the final code and size. Check print contrast and scanning on the actual textured proof.

Should the label be laminated?

Discuss the required appearance and handling. Any additional finish should be approved with the pearlescent stock.

Can it be used on a wet pack?

State the exposure conditions. A pearlescent appearance alone does not establish a wet-service rating.
