Matte Silver PET Labels

A matte silver PET label for metallic brand marks, identification panels and equipment-label projects, with the final construction selected for its use.

  • Matte silver PET; grade and thickness confirmed in the quotation
  • Foil · emboss · reverse UV, subject to construction approval
  • Sheets; roll configuration confirmed if required

Your artwork, selected stock and final construction are approved together before production.

Technical nameplate artwork printed on silver film.
Overview

Treat the silver as a design colour.

The metallic face stock is part of the artwork: unprinted areas show the silver surface, while printed areas change its appearance. Review the selected film and colour coverage rather than relying on a screen simulation.

Silver PET film is supplied with a coated-paper liner; the exact grade and adhesive are agreed for the project. Technical applications need an agreed adhesive, finish and validation plan.

Craft

Details to approve.

The material, artwork and finish work together. Review these decisions before production.

Use the silver deliberately

Mark which areas should retain a metallic appearance. Review printed colour and legibility on the actual silver face stock.

Review fine information

Identification labels may contain small text, symbols and codes. Supply final artwork and test readability at the intended label size.

Specify the exposure

Equipment surfaces can encounter heat, oils or cleaning agents. Name the conditions so the complete label construction can be selected and tested.

FAQ

Before you order.

More label FAQs
Is this metal foil or PET?

This construction uses silver PET film. Confirm the exact supplied grade by sample; it should not be described as a solid metal plate.

What liner is supplied?

Coated paper is the liner described for this construction. Any alternative liner or roll format must be agreed in the quotation.

Can I use it under a bonnet or near heat?

A high-temperature application needs a defined temperature range, adhesive and supporting validation. Request a construction with an agreed temperature rating and relevant validation.

Will printed colours look the same as on white paper?

The silver background can change their appearance. Review the opacity and colour on the selected film, using a physical proof.

Can it be used as a safety or compliance label?

Supply the required content and service conditions. The printed label must meet the relevant project specification; the material name alone does not establish suitability.
