Gold-finish labels with custom print and cut shapes, using a reflective-looking background as part of the artwork.

Your artwork, selected stock and final construction are approved together before production.

Gold-Finish Paper Labels: Printed label example.
Overview

Treat the gold background as a material choice.

Choose the actual gold-finish stock and shade before setting the print coverage. Open areas reveal the selected background while printed areas change its appearance.

A metallic background does not identify the production method for every design element. Agree any separate foil or relief step explicitly and approve the finished sample on the packaging.

Craft

Details to approve.

The material, artwork and finish work together. Review these decisions before production.

Select the gold tone

Compare the stock shade and reflection with the rest of the pack.

Map printed and open areas

Review colour coverage and any areas intended to retain the gold background.

Proof additional effects

Keep optional foil or relief masks separate from the printed artwork.

FAQ

Before you order.

More label FAQs
Is the whole label hot-foil stamped?

The gold-finish face and a separate foil process are different choices. Confirm the actual construction and any added finishing step.

Can coloured artwork be printed over gold?

Specify the colour and opacity required and approve a physical print on the selected stock.

Can custom shapes be cut?

Provide the intended cut line and review fine corners and the finished edge.

Can the background shade be matched to a cap?

Compare physical stock and cap references under suitable lighting before approval.

Can it meet water exposure?

State the conditions and trial the complete selected label rather than assuming performance from the gold appearance.
